How to take screen shot on laptop
Windows:
- Press the "Print Screen" key (sometimes labeled "PrtScn" or "PrtSc") on your keyboard. This will capture the entire screen.
- To capture a specific window, press the "Alt" and "Print Screen" keys simultaneously.
- To capture a specific portion of the screen, press the "Windows" key and "Shift" and "S" keys simultaneously. This will open the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch app, which you can use to select the area you want to capture.
Mac:
- Press the "Command" and "Shift" and "3" keys simultaneously to capture the entire screen.To capture a specific window, press the "Command" and "Shift" and "4" keys simultaneously.
- Your cursor will change to a crosshair. Click and drag the crosshair to select the window you want to capture.
- To capture a specific portion of the screen, press the "Command" and "Shift" and "4" keys simultaneously, then click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
After capturing the screenshot, it will be saved to your clipboard or a designated folder on your computer, depending on your operating system and settings.
